We were shooting some merchandise photography a while back, with all these geese and ducks everywhere around us. During shoots I can never stand still for very long, so I started jogging and bouncing around some.... looking through the stock, this shot was overlooked as a candid, until months later. It popped up on our desktop and Wolf noticed how cool it was that the bird was taking off in the exact same position as I was. :)

What powers this for me is the subtle shadow work you've picked up, falling across the paved bricks. Those set off and amplify the literal shadows of you and the gull...
