Deviousness |
One reason I loved the older version so much was because of the more natural feel to it, the haunted cast to her face, the shadows under her eyes. In this remaster, the blue tinge you've added (I know nothing about editing programs) makes her seem more unearthly. The mood seems to, in my mind, go from haunted, slightly feral young woman to mystical being. She looks a little too beautiful, if you know what I mean. I liked when she looked more natural.
In the remaster, it's fairly obvious that her eyes have been touched up and the redness around them looks slightly painted on. Her skin is so bright it's almost painful to look at. Don't get me wrong, it's still a wonderful picture, it just lost something for me with the remaster. I guess what I'm saying is that she's more relatable in the older version and in this remaster, she looks a bit like someone from a fantasy novel. Which could be good, depending on your goal, and may, indeed, have been your intent.
So yeah. Saw this in my devwatch and just thought I'd leave my two cents. Hope it doesn't offend you.
Have a great day, I look forward to seeing more of your stuff!
